Alice Burla

Biography

Hailed as an "extraordinary talent" by The New York Times, Alice Burla was named a prizewinner of the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition 2025, receiving the Patricia and Neal Steffen Family Jury Discretionary Award for her performances. Alice has performed around the world, with highlights including the Tonhalle Zürich, Victoria Hall, Dubai Opera, and Carnegie Hall, as well as orchestra engagements with the Sinfonieorchester Basel, argovia philharmonic, and Donetsk Philharmonic Orchestra. She has performed alongside artists such as Daniel Müller-Schott, Denis Kozhukhin, Ilya Gringolts and Maxim Vengerov. Alice is a laureate of major international competitions, with strong finishes at the Sydney, Montréal, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Competitions.
