Biography

Can Saraç is a Turkish pianist born in 2007. He has appeared with orchestras including Denmark’s Underholdningsorkester under Adam Fischer, the Mariinsky Orchestra and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in Milan, Bucharest, Sofia, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, Istanbul, St. Petersburg, and Copenhagen. He is a recipient of the ICMA 2025 Discovery Award and the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Prize. He has participated as a festival artist at the Cliburn Int. Junior Piano Competition and Festival, and as a scholarship holder at the Morningside Music Bridge program at the New England Conservatory, as well as the Liechtenstein International Music Academy. He currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar under Prof. Michail Lifits following earlier studies in Munich.
