Biography

Carter Muller is a Dutch-American classical pianist born in Amsterdam in May 2001. He has performed across Europe, North America and Asia at venues including the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Tonhalle Zürich, and Wiener Konzerthaus, and has appeared as a soloist with the Sinfonia Rotterdam, Residentie Orchestra, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra and Arc-en-ciel Ensemble. His repertoire spans Bach to contemporary music, including regular work with Klangforum Wien. He studied in Seattle, Amsterdam and Imola, earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at ZHdK with Till Fellner, and is now pursuing a master’s in contemporary music with Nicolas Hodges in Stuttgart. He is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions and also studied composition and conducting.
