Praised for performing “with the authority of a fully mature artist” (New York Concert Review), pianist Daria Podorozhnova is the Second Prize winner of the 2025 Olga Kern International Piano Competition. Her recent distinctions include First Prize at the Ann & Charles Eisemann Young Artist Competition, Gold Medal at the 2025 International Keyboard Odyssiad® & Festival, First Prize at the 2025 Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, and Sixth Prize at the 69th Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona. Born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, Daria began piano studies at age six at the Special Music School, studying with Inna Serebryanskaya and later Sergei Osipenko. She currently studies with Alexandre Moutouzkine at MSM in New York.
