Haolun Sun

Biography

Chinese pianist Haolun Sun has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, and Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. His performances have been broadcast on China Central Television (CCTV) and other major Chinese television networks. Sun is the recipient of numerous prizes in international competitions, including Second Prize at the 2025 Hartford Chopin International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, and First Prize at the 8th German Mendelssohn International Piano Competition Asia-Pacific. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at the New England Conservatory, studying under Prof. Alexander Korsantia and Prof. Pavel Nersessian.
