Houjiyuan Deng

Biography

Hongjiyuan Deng is currently studying at the Affiliated High School of the Central Conservatory of Music under Professor Zhou Yunqing. In 2018, invited by the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan, he took part in performances at the Astana International Music Festival. His major awards during his studies include the Chinese Works Award at the Lang Lang Futian Cup; Third Prize in Professional Group A of the Steinway Piano Competition; Fourth Prize and the Commissioned Work Award in Professional Group A at the National Finals of the Xinghai Cup; First Prize in Group A of the "Academy Cup" Piano Concerto Competition hosted by the Central Conservatory of Music. He was also the youngest participant to advance to the semi-finals of the 15th China Golden Bell Awards.
