Hyelim Kim

Biography

Hyelim Kim is a prizewinner of major international piano competitions including the Clara Haskil and Hastings International Piano Competitions. She made her orchestral debut at the age of ten with the Filarmonica ‘Mihail Jora’ Bacău and has since performed with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, Gürzenich Orchester Köln and Orchestre de Picardie. Hyelim has appeared Europe at renowned venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Kölner Philharmonie, Flagey Brussels and TivoliVredenburg Utrecht and has also been invited to festivals such as Piano Folies du Touquet, Festival de Saint-Riquier and Musica Nigella. Her mentors include Georg Friedrich Schenck, Claudio Martínez Mehner, and Nina Tichman.
