Ibrahim Ignatov

Biography

Born on 15 December 2003, in Shumen, Ibrahim has won 1st Prize in the 27th International Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth, Szafarnia, the 1st International Piano Competition Carl Maria von Weber, Dresden, the 9th International Piano Competition Liszt-Bartok-Kodály, Sofia, as well as 2nd Prize in the International Competition Pancho Vladigerov, Shumen and others. He's holder of the Badge of Honor of the President of Bulgaria, also the "Worthy Bulgarian" award. Furthermore, he's holder of the Golden Badge and is a Honorary Citizen of his hometown Shumen. He has a rich concert activity, both in Europe and abroad-the USA, UK, Germany, Austria, France, Malta, Poland, Russia, UAE, and others. He participated in masterclasses with Mikhail Voskresensky, Nikolay Lugansky and others.
