Ionah Maiatsky

Biography

Born in 2001, Ionah Maiatsky is a pianist of Franco-Slavic origin who has already distinguished himself on the international stage through numerous awards. He has received several major distinctions in international competitions. In 2021, he was awarded First Prize at the Albert Roussel Competition in Paris. In 2022, he received Second Prize, along with the Belle Saison Special Prize, the Académie de Villecroze Prize, and the Audience (Students’) Prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, performing in duo with cellist Paul- Marie Kuzma. In 2023, he was awarded the Grand Prize of the Ravel Academy in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, followed in 2024 by Third Prize at the Pierre Barbizet Competition in Marseille.
