Ivan Petrović-Poljak

Biography

Ivan Petrović-Poljak was born in Zagreb in 2004. He started playing the piano at the age of 8. Since 2022, he has studied at the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Ruben Dalibaltayan. He has won numerous national and international piano competitions, including awards in Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Serbia, and was the winner of the Croatian selection for Eurovision Young Musicians in 2020. Ivan has performed extensively as a soloist and with orchestras including the Zagreb Philharmonic, HRT Orchestra, Radio France Orchestra, Budapest Dohnanyi Orchestra, Kiev Chamber Orchestra, Phion Orchestra, and Sofia Soloists. He is a multiple recipient of the “Oskar znanja” award and a scholarship holder at the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein.
