Biography

Described as poetic and temperamental by Piano News and “fantastic, beautifully under control, with wit and colour” by Dame Imogen Cooper, Jacopo is a student of Prof. Martinez Mehner in Köln and has previously studied in Hannover’s Hochschule für Musik with prof. Bernd Goetzke. Semi-finalist of Queen Elizabeth, Jacopo has performed in some of the most prestigious halls as the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Salle Cortot in Paris, Flagey in Brussels, Atheneum in Bucharest, Auditorium in Rome, Carnegie Hall in New York, Severance Hall in Cleveland eccecc. and is a regular guest at some of Europes most renowned festivals like Macklemburg Vorpommen Festspiele and Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival. Among the figures that have influenced him musically M. Kent Nagano, Prof. Rouvier, Prof. Lupo.
