Biography

Jan Nikovich is one of the most sought-after young Croatian pianists, whose interpretations have drawn attention from audiences and critics across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. His career includes appearances in major concert venues and festivals, concerto performances with leading orchestras, and international broadcasts on ClassicFM, NHK Japan, CNN Brazil and WQXR New York. A laureate of international competitions including Hilton Head, Sendai, Bösendorfer USASU and Eppan, he has received some of Croatia’s highest distinctions for young musicians, including Young Musician of the Year in both 2024 and 2025. Alongside his concert career, his recordings and visual artistic presence have reached a wide online audience, connecting classical performance with a contemporary public.
