Jiwon Yang

Biography

Jiwon Yang, who debuted in Seoul in 2012, is an award-winning pianist, earning 4th Prize at the 2026 Hastings International Piano Competition, 3rd Prize at the 2025 ARD International Music Competition, and prizes at the 2019 Cliburn Junior and 2018 Cleveland competitions. She has performed internationally across Korea, Europe, and the U.S., appearing with ensembles such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Camerata New York. Her venues include Carnegie Weill Hall, Steinway Hall (NYC), and the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow. She has given recitals at major New York institutions and participated in masterclasses with leading pianists. She studies at Mannes School of Music with Richard Goode and Pavlina Dokovska.
