Matteo Weber

Biography

Matteo Weber (born 2002) began his career at thirteen by winning first prize at the Bach Competition in Köthen. In 2016, he was named "Piano Talent of the Year" at the Klavierpodium München and has since become a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the César Franck Competition in Brussels, the International Music Festival in Paris, and the Mendelssohn Hochschulwettbewerb in Berlin. Solo performances have taken him to the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Philharmonie Essen. He also performs regularly with orchestras, such as the Baden-Baden Philharmonic. In 2026, he will perform at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie.
