Maya Oganyan

Biography

She was born in Moscow and began studying at the age of four, graduating with honors and honorable mention from the Conservatory of Venice. At 17 years old she wins the 2nd Prize in the "Verona International Piano Competition", youngest in the history of the competition. In 2024 she was selected as a "student in residence" at the Verbier Soloists Academy and in 2025 she is laureate of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon. She performs with orchestras, such as the Nice Philharmonic, the Armenian National Philharmonic, La Fenice Philharmonic, Arena di Verona Philharmonic. Passionate chamber musician, she regularly collaborates with Steven Isserlis, Barnabas Kelemen, Ian Bostridge, Christophe Coin, Pierre Genisson. She studies with M° Benedetto Lupo in Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome.
