Biography

Born in 2002 in A Coruña, Spain, Miguel Iglesias Lista began his musical journey at seven. He has performed at prestigious venues like the Haarlem Philarmonie, Teatro Principal de Santiago, and Auditorio de Galicia. Currently pursuing his Master's at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Frank van de Laar, Miguel previously earned his Bachelor's degree with the highest distinction. He is a top prizewinner in major competitions, notably earning 1st Prize at the Ibiza International Piano Competition (2025) and reaching the semifinals of the Queen Elisabeth Competition (2025). Honored for his academic excellence with the Galicia Extraordinary Award, he received multiple Xunta de Galicia scholarships and plays a Bösendorfer piano loaned by Het Muziekinstrumentenfonds.
