Mikhail Kambarov

Biography

Prizewinner of the 17th International Van Cliburn Piano Competition, Russian pianist Mikhail Kambarov has performed with orchestras including the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, Porto Symphony Orchestra, Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach, and Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Grosseto. He has appeared in venues such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Beethoven-Haus Bonn, Mendelssohn-Haus Leipzig, and the German Embassy in Washington. Kambarov is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including first prizes at the International Scriabin Piano Competition, the Domenico Scarlatti Competition, and the Mayenne International Piano Competition. He studies in Weimar with Prof. Michail Lifits.
