Miyu Shindo

Biography

Born in 2002 in Japan. Finalist of 19th Chopin Piano Competition. Her performance experience has taken her to numerous cities in Japan, USA, Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, China, Spain, France (Festival de Musique de Menton) and so on. She played with National Philharmonic in Warsaw, New Japan Philharmonic, Yomiuri Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Central Conservatory of Music Orchestra Beijing, etc. She won the 1st prize and Audience Award at the International Piano Competition “City of Vigo“, Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, 3rd prize and Audience Award at Kissinger Klavierolymp. She was awarded Kirishima International Music Festival Prize 2017, the Grand Prix at Osaka International Music Competition.
