Nejc Kamplet

Biography

Nejc Kamplet completed his piano studies under Z. Niederdorfer at the University of Music in Graz; later he studied with A. Vardi at the University of Music in Hanover. Quoting A. Madžar: “Nejc is one of the most talented young musicians encountered in the last years. His ease at the piano and feeling for the instrument are quite remarkable, and his technical skills are simply stunning ... His interpretations show a very keen artistic mind and a great deal of serious commitment.” He has furthered his studies with several world-renowned pianists (E. Kissin, J. Rouvier, B. Berman, R. Dalibaltayan, A. Valdma), performed as a soloist with the Slovenian, Meiningen, Catalan, Harbin, Wuhan, Philharmonic orchestras, etc; and gave recitals at festivals across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
