Nikita Lukinov

Biography

Nikita Lukinov is a Scotland-based concert pianist praised for his “extraordinary breadth and freedom of imagination” (Gramophone), a “true master of storytelling” (The Pianist), and a BBC Music Magazine “Rising Star”. He has performed across the UK, Europe, Asia and Russia, including Wigmore Hall, Southbank Centre, Palau de la Música, and the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. His broadcasts include BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Scotland and Scala Radio. In 2024/25 he completed a 40-concert Scottish tour, alongside outreach work in care and education settings. A prize-winner at the Málaga International Piano Competition (2025), he also toured China with recitals and masterclasses. Nikita studied on full scholarships at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (2017-2024), where he is now a piano lecturer.
