Sakurako Kita

Biography

She was born in 2002. She studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts with Prof.Eguchi Akira and is currently a student of Lilya Zilberstein at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She has been recognized in numerous international competitions, earning major prizes at PTNA, Jeno Takacs Competition, Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition, Japan Piano Open, Classic Piano Competition, Beethoven International Piano Competition Asia, Merci Maestro, and Vladimir Krainev Moscow Competition. In 2025 she received 2nd prize at the Emmanuel Durlet Competition, 5th prize at the Lyon International Piano Competition and also qualified for the preliminary round of the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition.
