Seungho Chung

Biography

Seungho Chung, 16-year-old from South Korea has gained international recognition. In 2025, he became the youngest Top 3 finalist and a special prize winner at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition. In 2024, he won First Prize and three special prizes at the Ishikawa International Piano Competition. That same year, he was also a prizewinner at the Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists and received the Grand Prize at the Asia Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Artists. In Korea, he has won First Prize at major competitions including the Ewha-Kyunghyang Music Competition, the Korea Chopin Competition, and the Korea Liszt Competition. He was also unanimously accepted into the Kumho Young Artist Audition, demonstrating his exceptional musical talent.
