Victoria de Melo

Biography

Victoria de Melo won 1st Prize in 2026 Abingdon Concerto Competition and 2nd Prize in the 2025 London International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists. Victoria has performed solo recitals at the Wigmore Hall, Sheldonian Theatre through the Young Artists' Platform, Holywell Music Room for the Oxford Chamber Music Society's anniversary concert, Jacqueline du Pré Music Building in the Oxford Piano Festival and Trinity College in the Cambridge International Piano Festival. She participated in the Allegro Vivo Festival and the Clavicologne International Piano Festival in Austria. Victoria has received masterclasses from renowned pedagogues including Stephen Kovacevich, Dmitri Alexeev, Pavel Gililov, Piotr Paleczny, Elisabeth Leonskaja and Richard Goode. She studies with Tatiana Sarkissova.
