Yifan Lei

Biography

Yifan Lei, 17, is a Grade 11 piano student at the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in Beijing, currently studying under Prof. Danwen Wei and Mr. Tianxu An. He has given solo recitals at the Academy of Music in Poznań and Salle Cortot in Paris, and has frequently performed as a soloist with the Cross Strait Young Artists Joint Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Danwen Wei. Yifan has won top prizes at the Global Outstanding Young Performers Competition, the Chopin International Junior Competition, the Lanzhou International Piano Open, the Singapore International Music Festival, the Steinway National Youth Piano Competition, and the Praelusio Competition in New York. He has also been invited to perform in concerts across China, Poland, France, and Germany.
