Biography

Young-Ho Shin, aged 19, is a rising pianist who gained international attention after winning Second Prize at the 2025 Dublin International Piano Competition in May, becoming the youngest laureate in the competition’s history. Earlier in March 2025, he received a Special Prize at the Pancho Vladigerov International Piano Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has also participated in major international competitions, including the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, and Sendai International Music Competition. In South Korea, he won top prizes at competitions such as the Shinhan Music Awards and the Ewha & Kyunghyang Music Competition. He has performed in the United States, Ireland, Germany, Bulgaria, Japan, China, and South Korea.
